Haley Van Dyke career high 22 points leads Washington to 78-61 win over Utah

 Haley Van Dyke and Quay Miller combined for 36 points to lead Washington ( 6-11, 3-11 Pac-12)  to its most complete effort in Pac-12 play and a 78-61 win over Utah ( 5-14, 4-14) on Friday night at Alaska Airlines Arena.

The  Huskies  were nearly perfect in the first  quarter  making 8-15 field goals and all four attempted three pointers for a 23- 15 lead. The ot shooting continued in the second quarter and the Huskies went into the half time break with 41-31 lead.  Haley Van Dyke lead the Huskies with 10 points and five assists. The Huskies were 14-29 48% from the floor. The shooting percentage  from the three point lane was even more head turning. The Huskies were 6-7 from the arc for an astronomical 86%. Brynna Maxwell led  Utah with nine points. The Utes  made just 11-31 field attempts for a paltry 35%.
