The Seahawks returned to practice after a day off to heal from last week’s Moch game at Lumen Field. After a spirited practice head coach Pete Carroll spoke to the media and gave an update on several players. The good news was that Riq Woolne was removed from the PUP list and is now able to participate in team walk through’s.
“It’s great to get him back. He comes off the PUP today. His workouts have been extraordinary and we can’t keep him out any longer. He’s just too close. We’re still going to take care of him and make sure that we get him back to the football movements and football change of direction and things and more cover situations. He took induvial today. It’ll be a little different tomorrow in the process. This week it will be really quiet this week. We won’t give him a lot of work, but we’re stressing him in the workouts and the rehab work to make sure he’s getting there and he feels great. He’s really confident and we’re going to make him be begging to get back out there.”

Carroll gave a good and bad news assessment regarding running back Kenny McIntosh and CB Andre Whitaker. Both rookies were injured in the mock game.
” Very good news. He’s got a sprain. It might be a couple weeks. It looked nasty, but he’s flexible and being the extraordinary athlete that he was he made it through that awkward position that he got in and came out okay. He’s walking around and all that. He’s got a little swelling. We think it’s a first-degree type of sprain so we’re very lucky there. Not so for (Andrew) Whitaker. He had a legit patella tendon injury and he’s going to have to have some more time.”
