BREAKING: Husky Stadium can return to full capacity this fall

With reopening in full throttle Husky fans and the Athletic Department received the best of news Tuesday morning. Husky Stadium is can reach 100 % capacity during home games.

The University of Washington Athletic Department announced today several important dates and details regarding the 2021 Husky Football season, including that, in accordance with guidelines set by the state of Washington and King County, Husky Stadium will return to 100% seating capacity for the upcoming season.

“Today’s announcement is another reaffirmation of the positive momentum that Husky Nation and our community has been driving,” said Washington Director of Athletics Jennifer Cohen. “We are so grateful for our season ticket holders who have contributed to an unbelievable renewal rate. Championship fans are essential to a championship program. We have a great home schedule this year, and we can’t wait to have our loud, passionate and loyal Dawg fans back in Husky Stadium.”

Tickets will also go on sale to the general public on a single-game basis starting on July 23. 

“We can’t wait to have our fans back at Husky Stadium,” said UW head coach Jimmy Lake. “We need this place packed and rocking!”
