The Seahawks trimmed their roster Monday two days before the start of the teams 2020 Training Camp. The team waived running back Anthony Jones and cornerback Brian Allen. Allen spent most of last season on the teams practice squad after spending the 2018 season with the Pittsburg Steelers. The Steelers drafted Allen in the fifth round of the 2017 draft. Jones stay with the Seahawks was short lived. The former Florida International standout was signed by the Hawks as an undrafted free agent earlier this offseason.
WIDE OUT JOHN URSUA
Second-year wide receiver John Ursua could be back with the team very soon if his third COVID-19 test returns with a negative results Ursua’s first test came back positive and landed him on the NFL’s Reserve/ COVID-19 list on Sunday. Ursua took a second test that came back negative and now awaits the results of a third test to clear him of a return to the team.
