Seahawks trim roster before the start of Training Camp

The Seattle Seahawks made several roster moves in preparations for the start of training on Tuesday. The moves brings the teams preseason roster to 81 players. Waived from Running back Patrick Carr, wide receiver Seth Dawkins guards Kahlil McKenzie and Jordan Roos, defensive back Josh Norwood, linebacker Sutton Smith, and tight end Dominick Wood-Anderson.


The hawks completed the signing of their rookie class before Tuesday’s training camp. General Manager John Schneider and his staff were busy putting pen to paper to complete the signings.

First-round pick Jordyn Brooks, second-round pick Darrell Taylor, third-round pick Damien Lewis, fourth-round pick DeeJay Dallas, fifth-round pick Alton Robinson, and seventh-round pick Stephen Sullivan were all signed Tuesday. The six joined fourth-round pick Colby Parkins and sixth-rounder Freddie Swain who were previously signed.
