Seahawks Co-Captain Bobby Wagner became the franchise leader in tackles last week against the Falcons and the All- Pro Linebacker brushed away an notions of being satisfied with his the achievement of the play of the Seahawks defense halfway through the season. The Seahawks defense is ranked number 23 in the 32 team NFL. The Seahawks defense is allowing 24.5 points per game which puts them at 20th in the league. In summation the Seahawks defense sits in the middle of the pack.
The Seahawks have the drive, talent and commitment to being a top tier dominant defense with consistency being the missing ingredient according to Wagner.
On Sunday the Seahawks host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers a team that is coached by former Arizona coach Bruce Arians.
Wagner wasn’t all doom and gloom during his weekly press conference. He took time out to praise the play of rookie Marquis Blair who has started the last two game at Strong Safety for the injured Tedric Thompso.
