The Seattle Seahawks returned to work Monday after reducing the team’s roster to the NFL mandated 53 players and creation of the team’s practice squad. With the preseason in the view room and Sunday’s season opener at Denver ( 1:25 p.m) fast approaching, here is what Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll had to say about the team’s roster moves, the first practice of the regular season and the overall state of his team.
