Monday morning rewind with Chris Petersen.

After a sluggish 30 to 14  season opening road victory against Rutgers Friday night, Husky head coach Chris Petersen addressed the performance of his team during his weekly press conference.

The no.8/7 ranked  WashingtonHuskies needed a second quarter 61 yard punt return from Dante Pettis to kick start  a sluggish offense. Pettis punt return gave the Huskies a 10-7 lead they never conceded on their way to the win. Pettis now has six career punt returns tying him with Cal’s DeSean Jackson for the most in the Pac-12. Pettis has returned a punt for a score in three straight season openers.
