The Seattle Seahawks will play six prime-time games, no international games, and a Christmas game for the first time in franchise history. The Hawks will have nine home games and will play 10 teams that made the playoffs in 2025. The team’s bye will be in Week 11 after playing the Raiders and before returning to the Bay Area to face the Niners on September 29th
WEEK ONE SEPTEMBER 9th
The Seahawks’ defense of their Super Bowl LX crown will begin on Wednesday, September 9th, against the New England Patriots. The same team will beat in Super Bowl LX. The game will mark the start of the 2026 NFL season. The Patriots have had plenty of offseason distractions with head coach Mike Vrabel being alleged to be involved in a marital affair.
WEEK 2 SEPTEMBER 20th at Arizona Cardinals 1:25 p.m
The Seahawks first road game will feature a reunion of former Notre Dame teammates and first-round picks. The Cardinals selected running back Jeremiyah Love with the No. 4 pick overall, and the Seahawks used their first-round pick ( 32) on Jadarian Price.
WEEK 3 SEPTEMBER 27th at Washington Commanders 10:00 a.m.
Week three will see the Seahawks head back to the nation’s capital for a second consecutive game with the Commanders. The Seahawks beat the Commanders 38-14 at Northwest Stadium.
WEEK 4 OCTOBER 4th Los Angeles Chargers October 4th 1:25
The Chargers finished the 2025 season with an 11-6 record and were bounced out of the playoffs 16-3 in the Wildcard Round by the Patriots. This will be a good test for the Seahawks’ offense, as it will be the best they face in the first four weeks.
Week 5, October 11th, San Francisco 49ers, 1:25 p.m.
There is little doubt the Niners will be looking for some payback after the Seahawks regular season, with the game at Levi’s Stadium and, more excruciatingly, the 41-6 Divisional loss at Lumen Field. Interesting to note that the Niners beat the Seahawks last season to start the 2025 season.
WEEK 6, OCTOBER 15th, Denver Broncos 5:15 Thursday Night
The road trip to the Mile High City will be the Seahawks’ first Prime Time game and the dreaded Thursday night game. The Broncos are a legitimate Super Bowl contender, and this will be another test for the Seahawks defense after facing the Chargers, Niners, and Broncos. The Seahawks catch a break here, playing the Broncos on the front end of a mini bye.
WEEK 7, Kansas City Chiefs, October 25th, 5:20 p.m. Sunday
After a mini bye, the Hawks will have been out of action for 10 days. They will host Ken Walker III and the Chiefs. Patrick Mahomes will surely be back from his knee injury, and the Sunday night Prime Time contest will be another test for the Seahawks’ defense.
WEEK 8 Chicago Bears November 2nd, 5:15 p.m. Monday
The prime-time reunion will return when the Seahawks host the Chicago Bears and see the return of Coby Bryant. The Bears are led by the talented Caleb Williams, who will surely complete some passes to former Husky Rome Odunze.
WEEK 9 Arizona Cardinals November 8th, 1:25 p.m.
The home-and-away series between the two NFC West opponents will see the Hawks trying to continue their dominance over the Cardinals. If the Seahawks beat the Cardinals in Week 2 at Arizona, it will mark ten consecutive victories, and the Week 9 game would be a chance to make it 11 in a row. If not, the Seahawks will be looking to start another winning streak against the Cardinals.
WEEK 10 at Las Vegas Raiders, November 15th, 1:05
The Seahawks will hit the road after playing five of their last six games at Lumen Field. The trip to the dark side will see the Seahawks face former offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak, who is now the head coach of the Raiders. The Raiders drafted quarterback Fernando Mendoza with the No. 1 pick in the 2026 draft.
WEEK 11 BYE
WEEK 12 at San Francisco 49ers, November 29th, 1:25
The regular-season finale between the two NFC West teams will have plenty of playoff implications. The schedulers threw the Seahawks a bone here. The Hawks will be rested for the contest, coming off a bye week, while the Niners will be coming back from their Week 11 game in Mexico City.
WEEK 13th Dalla Cowboys December 7th 5:15 Monday Night
A prime-time matchup with the Dallas Cowboys will follow the Niners contest and should be a mouth-watering matchup for former Cowboys and current Seahawks Dante Fowler and DeMarcus Lawrence. DC Aden Durde was the Cowboys’ defensive line coach from 2021 to 2023 before joining the Seahawks.
WEEK 14th New York Giants December 13th 1:25
The match-up between the Giants and Seahawks is sure to be a defensive battle between pupil and teacher. Mike Macdonald will face his former boss, Giants HC John Harbaugh, who moved from Baltimore to the Big Apple. Seahawks linebacker Zach Orr was the Ravens’ defensive coordinator last year under Harbaugh.
WEEK 15TH at Philadelphia Eagles December 19th 2pm
The Eagles are two years removed from winning the Super Bowl and are thirsty for a return to the big game. The joy of winning the NFC East was followed by a disappointing 23-19 Wild Card loss to the Niners.
WEEK 16th Los Angeles Rams December 25th 5:15 Christmas Day
This will be the first time the Seahawks play on Christmas Day, and the fact that it will be against the Rams is sure to make it another special contest between two teams contending for the division crown.
WEEK 17 at Carolina Panthers January 3rd, 10:00 a.m.
The Panthers hung with the Seahawks for a half in last year’s Week 17 contest in Carolina before the Seahawks’ 24-7 second-half run.
WEEK 18 at Los Angeles Rams, date/time. TBD
The second game in three weeks will surely have playoff implications for the NFC West rivals. This game could have a bearing on who receives a first-round bye. The Seahawks showed how important a first round can be on the road to the Super Bowl.
