The Seahawks filled another need with their second pick ( 64th overall ) in the 2026 draft. The team picked Jadarius Bud Clark, a 6-2 safety from TCU. The sixth-year senior started the first 10 games before going down with an injury that saw him miss the Horned Frogs’ next two games. Clark returned for TCU’s Alamo Bowl victory over USC. The pick of Clark, a safety who has cornerback experience, is a similar to departed Coby Bryant’s skill set.
“I feel like I’m versatile. I’m a ball hog, you know, I’m getting to the ball every chance I get. I like to compete,’ said Clark during a draft call with the media.
SUPERIOR COVERAGE SKILLS WITH BALL HAWKING ABILITY
The predraft reports all point to Clark’s ability to see the ball and get it. That is more a Seahawks acrimony that fits with Clark, who had 15 interceptions in his last four seasons at TCU. Another intangible is Clark’s leadership. He was a three-year captain his last three years with the Horned Frogs.
“ . I felt like my peers looked up to me ,’ said Clark . “ I felt like I was approachable to everybody. You know, I try to, I try to get to know everybody, know everybody’s life just to understand who they were as a person. And I called you by your name, not by anything else. ”

BIG TAKE
Clark is a ball magnet, similar to Braynt, and has Devon Witherspoon energy. His versatility will fit into Mike Macdonald multi facit defensiv scheme. He made one visit to Seattle, and he saw two bald eagles, which he said were pretty cool. Look for him to be a contributor on special teams and work his way to a second safety spot on the depth chart.
