After signing several impact recruits earlier this spring, the Huskies are looking to add to their 2026 recruiting class. The Huskies recently flipped a big offensive tackle recruit, Kodi Greene, from Oregon to Washington. Kodi Greene is a five-star O-line prospect from Mater Dei High School, who ranks just outside the top 20 recruits in the nation, according to 247 Sports Composite 2026 recruiting rankings. This weekend, the Huskies have a chance to attract more recruits to the University of Washington, with a big weekend of visits.
Five-Star recruit Brandon Arrington will visit UW
Brandon Arrington created quite the buzz when he announced he would visit UW this Friday. Fellow recruit OT Kodi Greene recognized Arrington on X after the announcement was made. Arrington is an athlete from Mount Miguel High School and is the top 2026 recruit from California. He plays both wide receiver and defensive back. Arrington is also a track star with incredible speed, having broken age-group records set by Gold Medalist Noah Lyles. UW is among several schools competing for the highly touted recruit. Texas A&M, Alabama, USC, Penn State, Georgia, and Oregon have also drawn Arrington’s interest.
Four-Star Safety recruit Gavin Day comes to Seattle
Gavin Day expressed his excitement to visit UW this weekend on X, saying, “Can’t wait to get up to Seattle soon!!” Historically, the Huskies have found success recruiting talented safeties. Most recently, the Huskies received commitments from three DBs in their 2026 class. Cornerbacks Elijah Durr, Ksani Jiles, and C.J. Lavender announced their commitment to UW for 2026. Adding one of the best safeties in the 2026 recruiting class, Gavin Day, would create an intriguing future secondary.
Three-Star OL/DL Dominic Harris visits UW this weekend
Already, the Huskies have begun to build their trenches for the future this spring. UW received commitments from offensive lineman Kodi Greene and edge rusher Derek Colman-Brusa. The Huskies also secured a big expert prediction from on3’s Steve Wiltfong. His prediction states with 60% confidence, four-star IOL Samuel Utu will commit to UW. Washington is also bringing in three-star OL/DL prospect Dominic Harris for a visit this weekend. The Huskies are looking to continue to build back the trenches by bringing the 6’8 325 LB lineman to Seattle this week.
