Two days removed from their third loss of the season Sounders FC returned to practice Tuesday morning determined to turn their season around. A winless start to the season has put some urgency into the club. Next will be panic. With 29 games left in the season, the team has some time to regroup and begin to collect points. The cautious but optimistic news of Joao Paulo returning to full practice has buoyed the spirit and confidence other players.
Tuesday’s practice saw players executive drills with determination, and urgency to produce results. Saturday night’s home match with Montreal of the Eastern Conference will provide the Sounders an opportunity to gain some confidence and ease the rumblings of the Sounders fan base.
Montreal is 10th in the Eastern Conference with a 2-2-1 record.
