The Tom Brady led Tampa Bay Buccaneers snapped the Seattle Seahawks four game win streak with an nearly unstoppable ground game and precison passing from Brady. The Buccaneers racked up 161 rushing yards to the Seahawks 39 yards. Give credit to the Buccaneers for exploiting a Seahawks defense that sleep walked the first half and simple forgot how to set the edge and tackle.
SLOW START
The Seahawks offense also played far below it ‘s capabilities in the first half . The Seahawks offense had a grand total of 57 yards in the first half. The offenses major issuses was that the Seahawks offensive line had no answer for the Buccaneers Joe Tyron-Shoyika and Devin White. The pair had two first half sacks. Give credit to the whole Buccaneers defensive line with so much attention being paid to Veta Vea the rest of the D line overpowered the Seahawks offensive line. Aiken Hicks and Raheem Nunez- Roches and two quarterback hits and harassed Smith up and down the field. The Seahawks punted on all off their five first half possessions.
BETTER SECOND HALF BUST STILL NOT ENOUGH
The Seahawks had a better second half on both sides of the ball but in the end the issues that ncessstated a defensive changes in week five of the season resurfaced. On defense it was the inability to be aggressive , get off blocks and attack the quarterback.
The Bucanners gifted the Seahawks a turn over in the this quarter when a trick play went array. A Leonard Fournette attempted pass to Tom Brady was intercepted by Tariq Woolen for his sixth interception of the season.
OFFENSE FINDS SOME DAY LIGHT
The offense looked like it had found it’s footing after getting on the board with a field goal the previous offensive possession. The hope was shortlived and dashed when Geno Smith fumbled the ball at the Buccaneers 16 yard line giving the ball back to Brady after the Woolen interception. Brady wasted no time in accepting the gift and making up for his earlier transgressions. Brady engineered an 11 play 87 yard drive that ended with a four yard Brady to Chris Godwin pass play. Like Brady Smith atoned for his earlier transgressions when engineered a 5 play. 77 yards that ended with a 21 yard touchdown pass to Lockett. The Seahwks two point try failed.

DEFENSIVE STAND
The defensive made one more stand and it looked like the Seahawks might exorcise the demons from the lost Super Bowl when Cody Bryant jumped high and intercepted a Brady pass intended for Mike Evans. Smith converted the turnover into six points when threaded the needle and found Marquis Goodwin in the back of the enzzome for a 19 yard touchdown. The Seahawks were unable to make another stand and saw the Brady led Bucs hold on to the ball for the reminder of the game.
BIG TAKE
This game was about the Seahawks inability to answer the bell to start the game and stick to the game plan. A lethargic first half saw the Seahawks chasing the game and when the opportunity to grab the lead the offense was unable to do so because of self inclicgted wounds. This loss was all abou the Seahawks state of mind on both sides of the ball. Yes they gave a gallant effort but it was just not good enough. The Seahawks have earned some cushion and can affiord to lose one game here and there. What they can’t do is turn a loss into a two or three game losing streak.
