Seahawk’s lackluster 27-11 preseason loss to Bears leaves plenty of questions.

For all the talk of progress from the first preseason game to the second, the Seahawks did not hold up their end of the bargain. Simply put the Seahawks were awful in all phases of the game. The Seahawk’s special teams gave up too many yards on returns, the offense had another slow start, numerous penalties and the team’s inability to tackle worsened from last week’s loss to the Steelers.

The surprise inclusion of DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett to the starting offense was but a brief moment of euphoria. The two offensive superstars play just one offensive series.

SPECIAL TEAMS NIGHTMARE

How bad were the Seahawk’s special teams? A returned punt of 48 yards led to one Bears touchdown. Cade Johnson muffed a punt at the 5-yard line that led to a touchdown just before the half. Jason Myers missed a 47-yard field goal in the first half but made a  second attempt from 27 yards in the second half.
