Breaking: Seahawks Quandre Diggs Suffers Dislocated Ankle and Broken Fibula

The Seahawk’s season-ending  38-30 win over the Arizona Cardinals was bittersweet. Sweet because the win saw the hawks finish a disappointing 7-10 season with a two-game win streak. The bitterness is due to the gruesome injury to All-Pro Bowl Safety Quandre Diggs early in the fourth quarter . The leg injury was so bad the television broadcast elected to not show replays.

Players from both teams took a knee while trainers  Diggs right foot was put in an air cast, and he was carted off the field.

CARROLL   POSTGAME UPDATE

Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll disclosed that  Diggs had dislocated his right ankle and fractured his fibula would remain in Arizona.

Despite the injury, Diggs will finish the season as the Seahawk’s top interception leader with five, and his performance this season earned him his second consecutive Pro Bowl start.

News of Diggs injury spread like wildfire with players giving Diggs well wishes for a speedy recovery.
