After sitting out the first round the Seattle Seahawks entered the 2021 NFL Draft derby by picking Western Michigan Wide receiver D’Wayne Eskridge. The 5’9 185 Eskridge was a first-team All-MAC player at both receiver and kick returner. His versatility earned him a finalist spot on the Paul Hornung Award list, the award is given to the nation’s most versatile player. Eskridge was the only player on the five-person list not to have played in a Power 5 Program.

In 2019 Eskridge started two games as a wide receiver and cornerback. A broken clavicle ended Eskridge’s season after just four games. His ability to come back from the injury and have his best year in college speaks volumes about his commitment, dedication and toughness.
