The Seahawks are the NFC West Division Leaders after another solid defensive effort. The Seahawks offense saw the return of running back Chris Carson and center Ethan Pocic. Here is what the player and coaches had to say after the game.
SEAHAWKS HEAD COACH PETE CARROLL
CHRIS CARSON RETURNS
Running back Chris Carson returned to the line up after missing four games due to a foot injury. Carson showed why the Seahawks were so desperate to get him back in the line up rushing for 41 yards on 8 carries and scoring a touchdown. Carson also caught two passes for 18 yards. And as expected Carson had a signature run where he hurled a defender rather than run out of bounds.
JAMAL ADAMS LEAD TEAM IN TACKLES
Seahawks linebacker Bobby Wagner recorded five sacks three of which were unassisted putting over the century mark for the 9th consecutive year. Wagner has recorded over 100 tackles in each of nine seasons in the league. Strong Safety Jamal Adams finished with a game high nine tackles , six unassisted and one sack.
ANOTHER SOLID EFFORT BY WILSON
Quarterback Russell Wilson is back to playing solid football for a second consecutive game. After patch of five forgetful performances Wilson has refocused and showed why he was a front runner for the MVP race earlier in the season. Against the Eagles Wilson was 22/31 for 230 yards one touchdown and more importantly no interceptions or fumbles.
