The Seahawks defensive captain and six-time Pro Bowler and  AP All-Pro is looking to continue his  Hall- Fame career when the Seahawks head to Atlanta for Sundays season open. The NFL’s leading tackler last year spoke to local media Wednesday afternoon about the Falcons and the upcoming season.

TALENTED BACKLINE 

The Seahawks added All-Pro Bowl Strong  Safety Jamal Adams in a  blockbuster trade with the New York on  July 25th.  Matching up Adams and  Free Safety Quandre Diggs has many people in the Seahawks and the NFL abuzz at the talent the Hawks have at the back end of their defense.

A VETERAN UNIT

What should help the Seahawks defense from the get-go is that it’s a  veteran-laden unit. The Hawks do have some promising rookies who have been pushing for a starting spot like  Jordyn Brooks. The Seahawks picked the former Texas Tech star with their first-round pick and he has been pushing K.J Wright all training camp and will see plenty of reps on Sunday. Bruce Irvin returned for round two with the Seahawks adding veteran leadership to the mix.  According to Wagner, the competition has brought the team together
