The Pac-12 conference continued the head coaches conference call Tuesday morning. On Tuesdays, call was Utah coach Kyle Whittingham,Colorado’s Karl Dorrell, and Washington’s Jimmy Lake. The coaches gave some insight into their respective program preparations for the upcoming season.
UNIFIED RAMP UPTIME
When asked how much time they would require to restart their programs the answer was unanimous. Six weeks was the answer.
The coaches are aware that their timeline is a suggestion and not the final say in the process. Each states Govenor along with input form heatth officials will make the final call.
With coaches are away from the players ensuring a focused, physical, and aggressive mindset for teams like the Huskies who rely on aggression can be challenging.
QUARTERBACK CHALLENGE
The immediate and obvious challenge for Lake and Offensive Coordinator John Donovan will be to find a starting quarterback. According to Lake, the process will be open and fair.
Like the Huskies, Utah is also facing a change at quarterback after the graduation of four-year starter Tyler Huntley.
