“They’re a really well-balanced football team,” Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll on Green Bay Packers

The Seahawks completed their last in practice at the Vmac Friday afternoon grabbed their bags, boarded the team buses en route to the team plane that was waiting to whisk them away to Green Bay Wisconsin. The Seahawks offensive line injuries continue to be a major concern and only the pregame walkthrough on Sunday afternoon will provide some definitive answers as to who will be playing where on the left side of the line according to head coach Pete Carroll.

(On Duane Brown’s status) “We’ll find out on gameday. He did stuff yesterday.”

As for the teams, overall preparations for Sundays Divisional playoff game with the Packers the head coach was encouraged by his team’s effort and is confident the Seahawks can minimize the weather distraction.

“We had a really good day yesterday getting on the field. The weather was just right for us. It was a really great opportunity to get out. The temperature was about five degrees from game time, what it looks like. We feel really good about getting a chance to get acclimated in that regard. The week went great

If the Seahawks are to continue their playoff run they will need to play their best football against a Green Bay team lead by the two Aarons. Aaron Rodgers continues to lead Packer’s ariel attack while Aaron Jones spearheads the ground attack.

“They’re a really well-balanced football team. They’ve had a great season. They’ve had just a few setbacks during the year, but they’ve just been playing really consistent. They’ve done a great job with the football, plus 12, so they’ve done a great job on both sides of the ball to get that done.

I think the balance that they have in their run game to complement what Aaron [Rodgers] is so capable of doing has really made them successful. It’s made them consistently successful and it’s given them a really good formula. They’re already playing aggressive defense, as they always have. I think that’s the one thing that really jumps out at you. The reliance on the running game is different than it’s been in years past. Aaron Jones, he’s been fantastic, and he’s had a great year.
