The Seahawks completed their public preparations for Sundays Battle of the NFC West showdown with the San Francisco 49ers and positive Pete was not only positive but giddy and bubbly during Friday’s media briefing.
The Seahawks head coach had every reason to be positive after adding reinforcement to the running backs unit and the return of two defensive starters in DE Jadeveon Clowney and right cornerback Shaquill Griffin.
Both players missed last week’s loss to the Arizona Cardinals and will provide stability on the back end of the pass defense in Griffin’s case and disruption of the pass and run the game in Clowney’s case. Quandre Diggs also missed the Cardinals game and the Seahawks are hoping for a miraculous return.
