” Its an exciting time to be playing in front of our fans,” Seahawks Pete Carroll

The Seattle Seahawks are still in play for an NFC West title and the one-seed in the NFC , host the Arizona Cardinals Sunday afternoon at CenturyLink Field. The Seahawks will finish off their regular season the following Sunday with a winner take all game against the San Francisco 49ers. In order for the 49ers game to have massive implications regarding the NFC West Division Champion and the NFC Conference the Seahawks have to handle their business against a talented Cardinals team.

INJURY UPDATE

The Seahawks have been banged up and got the biggest scare of the season last game when Bobby Wagner had to sit out the last defensive series against the Carolina Panthers due to a light ankle strain.

On Bobby Wagner’s status for Sunday’s game)

“Well, he would probably be probable questionable at this time, if we had to label it. We don’t know. He wanted me to make sure to not be optimistic. I said, ‘I can’t do that. You’re going to play. I know you’re going to play.’ I hope that really confused you.”

(On how close Ziggy Ansah and Jadeveon Clowney are to playing on Sunday)

“I can’t tell you that. I don’t know. Got to get through the week and see what happens. They’re both going to get work today. We’ll just see as we progress and see if it’s right for those guys to play. I’m hoping to get them both back, but I can’t tell you right now.”

(On how fitting it is that the two Seahawks who made the Pro Bowl are Russell Wilson and Bobby Wagner, the two leaders of the team)

“Yeah, I guess so. Everybody can see. It’s pretty obvious. There’s no genius coming out of this end helping you in saying that. Those guys are really real deal. They just are. They’re great players. They’re all-time great players and we’re very fortunate to have them.”
