Injuries major concern as Seahawks prepare for Eagles

The Seahawks completed the weeks practice sessions friday before heading to Philadelphia to take on the Eagles Sunday morning at Lincoln Financial Field. Fridays practice session left more questions than answers due to several players health status.

INJURY UPDATES

The first news on the injury front was the team announcement that Ed Dickinson had been placed on the injury reserve after spending a whole two days on the active roster. Tyrone Swoopes was moved from the practice squad to take Dickson’s place on the 53-man roster. The move gives the Seahawks two healthy tight ends with Jacob Hollister

JADEVEON CLOWNEY STATUS

After having playing his best game as Pro against the San Francisco 49ers DE Jadeveon Clowney has not practiced all week due to a knee/ hip injury according to the team injury report. Despite the lack of practice reps head coach Pete Carroll left open the possibility that Clowney could still play on Sunday.

TYLER LOCKETT

On the other end of the spectrum was the news of Tyler Lockett being fit and able to play after suffering a leg injury in the 49ers game and caused him to spend two days in a Bay Area hospital while receiving treatment
