Seahawks Pete Carroll, ” We have some serious work ahead.”

The Seattle Seahawks were back practicing Wednesday afternoon fresh off a bye week in which players took the time to visit family, friends and regenerate for the upcoming stretch run.

CARROLL ON BYE WEEK

With the players rested head coach Pete Carroll talked about the need for the players to regain their focus for the teams Sunday afternoon game at Philadelphia.

PREPARING FOR A BRUISED AND BATTERED EAGLES

The 5-5 Eagles have had their share of injuries this year. Wide Receivers Nelson Agholor, Alshon Jeffrey, and running back Jordan Howard are all nursing injuries. Right Tackles Lane Johnson left last week’s against the Patriots due to a concussion and has not been cleared to practice. Not knowing who is healthy enough to play provides a significant preparation challenge for the Seahawks coaching staff.

HEALTHY SEAHAWKS

For the Seahawks the injury update was mixed. Tyler Lockett is expected to play on Sunday while Luke Wilson is highly unlikely to play according to Carroll. The Seahawks waived CB Jamar Taylor and moved TE Ed Dickson to the active roster.

MORE PLAYING TIME

According to Carroll Sunday’s game will provide an opportunity for L.J. Collier, Ugo Amadi and Ziggy Ansah to contribute.
