The Seattle Seahawks went into the 2019 NFL draft with two first-round picks and as expected General Manager John Schneider and head coach Pete Carroll continued their wheeling and dealing ways. The Seahawks traded DE Frank Clark on Tuesday to the Kansas City Chiefs for a first round pick (29th ) to add to the 21st pick from last seasons finish.
So there were no surprises when Draft Day rolled around and the Seahawks swapped their 21st pick to the Green Bay Packers for the 30th pick and received two fourth-round picks ( 114th, and 118th ) for their troubles.
With a 29th and 30th pick in the first round, the Seahawks surprised everyone by picking Defensive tackle L.J. Collier with the 29th round pick and returned to their wheeling and dealing ways whey traded the 30th pick in the first round to the New York Giants for a 2nd round (37, ) 3rd round (Pick 132,) and a fourth ( Pick 142).
