The University of Washington Huskies pro day at the Dempsey Indoor Center Monday afternoon was more like a family reunion as former, future Huskies turned out to support outgoing players who were out to improve their stock in the upcoming NFL Draft.
Former Huskies hoping to continue playing at the next level were Quarterback Jake Browning, running back Myles Gaskin, tight end Drew Sample, defensive lineman Greg Gaines, Jaylen Johnson, and Shane Bowman, linebackers Ben Burr-Kirven Tevis Bartlett were joined by defensive back Byron Murphy, Taylor Rapp, Jordan Miller, and Jojo McIntosh.
The above players participated in various drills in front of a crowd that included a representative from every NFL team including the Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll and General Manager John Schneider.
Husky players who moved on to the NFL and returned Monday to support former teammates included Dante Pettis, John Roos, Kevin King, Zeke Turner, Will Dissly, Darrell Daniels and Danny Shelton.
Current players looking to participate in next years Pro Day included Senior wide receiver Chico McClatcher, quarterback Jacob Eason outside linebacker Ryan Bowman and Myles Bryant
