Huskies Get Commitment From Talented Defensive End Bralen Trice

The Washington Huskies received great news today in their recruiting efforts for the 2019 class.

Sandra Day O’Connor High School weakside defensive end Bralen Trice committed to the Huskies earlier this morning.

According to 247Sports, he is listed as a three-star commit while being the #36 overall weakside defensive end prospect in the nation, and the #8 overall player in the state of Arizona.

Rivals has Trice ranked as a four-star commit with being the #23 overall defensive end prospect in the nation and the #7 overall player in the state of Arizona.

Trice is listed at 6-foot-4, 225 pounds and is the prototypical defensive end that the Huskies like to use at the hybrid-buck position.

The Huskies beat out national power Notre Dame and also the Oregon Ducks, who currently ranked #1 in the Pac-12 in recruiting rankings for the 2019 class.

Washington coaches have been coveting an elite pass rusher off the edge and Trice certainly has tremendous upside to grow into that mold.

Trice becomes the 17th commitment to the 2019 Washington Huskies recruiting class and the first from the state of Arizona.
