The Seattle Sounders (14-5-11, 47points) returned to practice Tuesday morning at Starfire Sports Complex hoping to keep the momentum they created from a rousing 4-0 win over the Colorado Rapids Saturday afternoon at CenturyLink Field. For Sounders head coach Brian Schmetzer team depth and chemistry will be tested with the FIFA International Break slated for October 8-16.
While the Sounders will not be losing American Cristian Roldan to National Team call-ups, Schmetzer could lose Roman Torress( Panama), Jordy Delem ( Martinique), Nicolas Lodeiro ( Uruguay), Gustav Svensson( Sweden), and Raul Ruidiaz (Peru). Complicating matters is the Sounders midweek match on Monday, October 8th against the Houston Dynamo (9-8-13, 35 points)
