Seahawks ready to get on the field and hit some one.

The Seattle Seahawks will open their 2018 preseason schedule at CenturyLink Field Thursday night at 7:00pm when they take on the Indianapolis Colts. The Seahawks have had 12 practices and they are looking to see what how the team will look without Earl Thomas, Richard Sherman and Kam Chancellor on defense. On offense, the team will look to move past last year woe full run game who’s leading rusher was quarterback Russell Wilson.

For Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll Thursday will be an opportunity for players to show that they have what it takes to start.

“Well, other than hitting, just the guys getting out there and playing for the first time and that’s the love of the game showing up because they understand now is their time. We’ve been waiting and holding back. You hold back all offseason. It’s really not a football mentality in the offseason.

You have to just hold off and hold back, and now they don’t have to hold back anymore so I’m looking to see if they can embrace the moment and jump on it and we can play our tail off and run up and down the field on those kickoffs and show what they got and have some fun playing the game.”
